Gliding Slow With Dreamy Grace

picking up from my last blog post, i thought i’d give you a quick update on how my birthday staycation went.
it was, in every sense of the word, lovely. we stayed in one of hotel celeste‘s deluxe rooms, which was decked out in european-inspired decor and other luxe details, but still maintained an air of familiarity and coziness. it was charming, to say the least. the location also proved to be even better than i anticipated, as a mere 5-minute walk brought us to greenbelt mall where i had my little birthday dinner (randomly bumped into bea there, too!). if john and i ever get the chance to go on a mini getaway again, we’d definitely consider another stay at hotel celeste. i actually vlogged a bit on my birthday — and through the following week after that — which i hope to post in a few days.
and oh, how wonderful is this polka dot skirt? comfy and twirly, it was the perfect pairing for my thrifted lace top that i’d been dying to wear out for weeks. i actually stumbled upon it at at a time when i had been eyeing similar lace and eyelet blouses online. total kismet!
