one morning in mid-february, all of manila seemed to have woken up to the sudden onslaught of the dreaded pre-summer swelter. i am opting not to call it summer just yet (please do allow me a couple more weeks of denial), but the heat is real, folks. so as i was getting ready to bid adieu to my favorite sweaters and cool weather accessories, i looked through my photos from the last few months and found these. this is about as close to autumn as one gets in the tropics, and poring over the pictures is a truly bittersweet affair. but since i do have a few more days of living in denial seasonal limbo, i’ll take it.
