hello, how’ve you been? 😀 i know; i can’t believe it either — i got a blog post up!

i’d say it’s time for a bit of catch-up. fair warning though: this post is filled with ALL the random things i currently love!

first up, i wanted to talk about this amazing, ethical jewelry brand, AURATE!

anyway! back to my little old self.

this photo was taken a while ago, on valentine’s day, before john and i had dinner at our favorite Stories by Lilypad (if you haven’t been, i highly recommend it!). we had a lovely evening and went home with our hearts full. ♥

in case you were wondering: life has been good. i’m in a new home, which has meant lots of new adjustments, but also an abundance of joy and gratitude and fulfillment.

also, i am now officially hooked on plants.

lately we’ve been especially enamored by rare cacti, and slowly growing a fun collection of curious little plants. before we started this endeavor, i hadn’t even known cacti could look like these! and believe me, there’s more where those came from. i only photographed a handful to show you a sampling of these beauties. which one is your favorite? 🙂

fashion-wise, i’ve been living in comfy, practical clothing most days, and particularly drawn to shades of mustard (what else is new) and military green (definitely new). i am completely and utterly obsessed with graphic tees; john has had to physically drag me from shops to stop me from hoarding even more. i just can’t help it!

my oldie-but-a-goodie rebecca minkoff bag has made a major comeback as well. i stopped using it for a while as it was getting a little too beat-up, but i pulled it out of hiding and now pair it with absolutely everything. for a mini tote, it sure can fit a ton!
