my name is bestie and i am a thrifter.
after years (most likely weeks, but it’s been so long that it feels like years) of not being able to visit thrift shops, i finally had the time and energy to go to a few ones near my house. by walking a mere block or two, i found myself facing endless possibilities. almost all of the thrift shops in the area had new stocks. oooohh yeah.
i originally wanted to do an ‘exclusive’ vintage-shopping spree, but surprisingly ended up with very modern things. and i seem to have been on a jacket-hunting mood that day…
(you should probably click on the pictures for the bigger versions.)
first, a gray blazer with the daintiest pink stitching and balloon sleeves. i love the belt, too.
second, a black little boy’s blazer. i’m still weighing my options on what to do with it: to alter or not to alter? i think i want to shrink it a bit…

third, a cropped denim jacket. what can i say? it is love.
fourth, my “edgy rainy day jacket “. it almost looks like leather, which i love, because i can never pull off the real thing. oh, and i love the leopard lining on it, too!
fifth and sixth, two awesome oxford high-heeled shoes. i couldn’t even believe my eyes when i saw them. the black and white pair’s practically new.
total for 6 items: about $30

Those shoes are FABULOUS. What a great find! I have a black-and-white pair very similar to yours, and I’m completely in love with them.
That blazer is lovely too! Does it have cool buttons?

hi cerys! i’m not sure of the thrift shop’s name (or that it even has one), but it’s in the munoz area in qc. the store’s beside jollibee along edsa. of course, i doubt that you’ll find the exact same shoes there, but you can try other thrift shops in the area — there’s a bunch of good ones!
hope that helps.(:
