can’t hold still
i attended a fashion show with my aunt friday night. before i left the house i really wanted to take an outfit pic, but no one was there to take it for me. and my tripod was apparently playing hide-and-seek, so i had to resort to the mirror.
as it turns out though, i suck at keeping my hands still. so i apologize for all the blur…
also, i was finally able to wear my vintage crinny out. i’ve been playing weird dress-up games in my room for the last month or so, using the crinoline with every dress and skirt i could find. i am just so in love with the pouf — it’s fantastic!
smocked dress – thrifted
little boy’s blazer – thrifted
crinoline skirt – vintage; eBay
two-tone oxfords – thrifted
brooch – vintage; eBay
anyway, the fashion show we attended was kind of a dud. the ‘designer’ apparently wanted to showcase her talent as a stylist more, so the runway ended up being packed with clothes and things from a couple of local brands, instead of her own designs. when i thought about it afterwards, it all seemed unnecessary — a complete waste of money and time. she could’ve just opted for a photo shoot, if she wanted something to add to her portfolio. but to spend $5,000+ on a useless ‘fashion show’ is nothing short of ridiculous.
and really, the styling wasn’t even that good. (that’s why i didn’t bother taking pictures.)

hi! i read from your previous post that you bought some of your tights from SM Dept store. May I know if where in SM particularly? I went there searching their women’s section but I didn’t find any. The salesladies there can’t help me as well coz it seems that they’re not familiar with it.
Thanks!
