fall? what fall?
i have to admit, i am growing more and more envious every time i see a picture or read a blog post talking about fall fashion. while autumn is right around the corner for most of you folks, we here in tropical philippines hardly ever get such cold weather. unless of course you count the somewhat elusive ‘christmas chill’ that lasts, oh, about a couple of weeks in december — if we’re lucky. for the rest of the year though, it’s all about the heat. or the rain. or both.
but still, a girl can dream. so if i were to actually experience fall weather anytime soon, i will likely be strutting the streets in this:
or this, on a more casual day:
and i will be flying about in this (i have always wanted to wear a cape!):
i will be going to work in this:
and party-crashing in this:
and so… as i wait for the miracle of fall to reach our shores, i am, in the meantime, taking advantage of typhoon season by dressing in layers and tights.

I love your polyvores. That plaid cape is amazing and I love the dress in the one after it. Nice outfit, as well.

Recently visiting L.A. where people were talking about wearing jeans because it was finally ‘cold’, that is low 70s, I actually felt for the first time glad that we get somewhat of a season. No winter, though, thank God.

You always want what you can’t have! Summer’s coming here in NZ and I am dying for it because I’m sick of wearing tights. The grey dress you’re wearing is sick! in a good way 🙂

I know how you must feel but since I grew up in the freezing german winters [shovelling snow as to not slip on the front porch on my way to school every morning] I cant really say I miss it too much. I love our sunny months, of course by the beach, thats easier to enjoy.
You should travel, you have great fall style.

You look awesome–dare I say older? I really like the necklace, so whimsical. It feels slightly different from your usual style, but definitely keeps true to yourself!
