Wishlist Wednesday: Pastel Bridesmaid Dresses

last week i mentioned that my best friend recently got engaged, and had named me her maid of honor. since then we’ve been working round the clock to organize the wedding: pinning to our mood boards like crazy, looking up planning information online, and searching for the best deals on suppliers, venues and all sorts of other details to make their special day a meaningful, memorable one.

we’re not actually in any real hurry though. the wedding date has been set for early 2017, so we still have plenty of time to plan. but my friend and i agree that it’s best to get most of the major details out of the way, to avoid any panic-inducing stresses toward the big day.

the bridal entourage dresses are one thing not completely ironed out yet. there are just so many options out there that it’s hard to narrow them down! the one thing my friend is certain of, however, is the wedding’s color theme: it’s all about pastel. she wants assorted shades of soft, blush tones, reminiscent of a beautiful spring day.

above are some of my favorite long bridesmaid dresses in pastel hues, from strapless to one-shoulder styles. i’m fairly certain we’re going with chiffon for the entourage, but isn’t that taffeta dress on the left absolutely stunning? i love the contrasting belt!

a slightly less formal option is the midi length (you know i had to include it!), which, if done right, can look just as elegant as the long gown. the blue 50’s inspired number is my favorite above, but the flowy dresses are super pretty, too!
